[PPL-devel] ppl test failures on mac

I just download, configured, compiled, and tested ppl-1.0. Two of the tests
failed (as listed above). The messages states that I should report this. I
used this configuration:
    ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --exec-prefix=/usr/local

Here is my machine configuration:
