Dear Harsha,

the minimal version of GCC to build a working version of the PPL
is 4.0.3. Moreover, you should not use PPL 0.9 for any new
development: use a snapshot of PPL 0.10 instead:

     ftp://ftp.cs.unipr.it/pub/ppl/snapshots/

Please direct any PPL-related message to ppl-devel at cs.unipr.it.
All the best,

    Roberto
