[PPL-devel] Compiling PPL on x86-64 architecture on windows via cygwin

Hello. I am having trouble compiling PPL in the stated environment. Your
website (http://www.bugseng.com/parma-polyhedra-library/ppl-portability)
lists the following tested environments which are related but I am not sure
how much so:

IA-32 running Cygwin
IA-32 running Windows, via MinGW

I am a research assistant at Boise State University and I am trying to use
PPL for static analysis in combination with the Soot java library (from
Sable). I freshly installed Cygwin (with all of the packages offered) on my
Windows machine and ran the following commands (I have provided their
respective printout files):

$ ./configure
--with-java=/cygdrive/c/Users/T3chma/Downloads/ppl-1.2/Java/jdk1.7.0_80
--with-cflags=-mcmodel=large --with-cxxflags=-mcmodel=large >
configure_output.log
$ make > make_output.log

I used the flags:

--with-cflags=-mcmodel=large
--with-cxxflags=-mcmodel=large

because I was having "relocation truncated to fit: R_X86_64_PC32 against
undefined symbol `Parma_Polyhedra_Library::ppl_unreachable()'" errors. The
jdk1.7 that I am pointing at is also know to work with the existing project
I am wanting to integrate PPL into. At this point I am getting the
following error:

undefined reference to `Parma_Polyhedra_Library::ppl_unreachable()'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [Makefile:1299: libppl.la] Error 1
make[2]: *** [Makefile:1224: all] Error 2
make[1]: *** [Makefile:553: all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [Makefile:482: all] Error 2


It seems like it must be something going wrong in the linker but I am not
sure how to resolve the issue.
