Everything compiled perfectly using ppl-0.11pre6. Thanks for the help
and the quick responses to my questions. Now on to CLooG ;-)))

Hi Bill,
in ftp://ftp.cs.unipr.it/pub/ppl/snapshots/ you will find a
snapshot of PPL 0.11 that solves this problem. The relevant
commit is

in case, for some reason, you need to backport this to
