Log message:
	Documentation improved: we now say explicitly in the detailed class
	documentation which are the constraints/congruences that are optimally
	supported; as a consequence, the docs for the add_* methods can be
	simplified by saying that an exception is thorwn if the argument is not
	optimally supported.
