[PPL-devel] Problems with the ppl-devel mailing list

Hi there,

three days ago, mellon85 at gmail.com sent a message to the ppl-devel
mailing list.  I (think I have) approved it and added the sender
to the accept filter, but the message did not show up, neither on the
list, nor in the archives.  Here is the only trace I could find in
the mailman log files:

Yesterday I wrote to mellon85 at gmail.com apologizing (perhaps I pushed
the wrong button the other day) and asking him to send the message
again.  He did that, and this morning the message was still blocked
because it was too big, i.e.:

Dec 06 23:00:43 2007 (2680) PPL-devel post from mellon85 at gmail.com held,
   message-id=<F61AC58F-071C-4B1D-8829-E2DD0D7AD3C8 at gmail.com>:
   Message body is too big: 158306 bytes with a limit of 150 KB

I went to the administration page and: I clicked on "accept";
I closed my eyes, opened them again and verified that I did
click on "accept";  I got up, walked around the office and
checked that, yes, I did click in "accept".  Then I clicked
on "submit".

Since the message is not showing up and I cannot find any
traces of it on the system, I guess something went wrong
again.  Enea, can you please check that our installation
of mailman is in good shape?  mellon85, I apologize again:
can you please send it again to ppl-devel (so as to help
us fixing the mailing list problems), CC to me (so that
we can help you with your problems with the PPL)?
