Log message:
	Update add_generator(g) to throw an exception when a parameter is
	given and the grid is zero dimension empty.  Rework the
	generalized_affine_image(lhs,..) and
	generalized_affine_preimage(lhs,..) lhs space dimension calculation to
	aid coverage analysis.
