No, I'm sorry - it was rather a very quick listing of some examples;
debian/docs may contain any file to be installed in
/usr/share/doc/<packagename> - it is not required, if the files are simply
listed in <packagename>.install .

Debian provides dh_make to create such a file for you - as you're not
using debian, you probably don't have that tool. I could send you mine, if
you like (as generated by dh_make + autoconf-addons)?

Makes me ask: Should I send my mails to the list directly, or just CC the
