Pat,

this change is a hack.  Please do not commit such things
to the PPL repository.  If you have a problem you don't
know how to solve, please tell me what the problem is
exactly and I will solve it.  But do not commit things
that only happen to work because of the shape of the
directory structure in your notebook.
